Download the Tala loan app from our official India website Tala Loan India (Android OS 4 or higher required)

After downloading the app, follow these quick steps;

  1. Sign up with your phone number (OTP verification)
  2. Answer a few simple questions (takes just 5 minutes)
  3. Submit your application
  4. Keep your ID proofs (Aadhaar Card & Pan Card) ready with you
  5. Complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) process
  6. Accept the “Loan Offer” & get the loan amount transferred to your account within 1 working day.
  7. Keep using Tala and qualify for larger loans up to Rs. 10,000 by making on-time payments!
  1. Go to our Tala App home page, then click on the “Make A Payment” button.
  2. Enter the “Amount” then click on submit.
  3. You will be redirected to the payment gateway page.
  4. Choose your preferred payment method: Netbanking, Debit Card, UPI & Wallets (Freecharge, Ola Money, Mobikwik & Jio Money).
  5. You will get a confirmation SMS with your loan payment details once the payment is done.
  6. Your App screen will change to “Your loan is fully paid”. 

Some customers may not have a Last Name (surname) on their PAN card and only have a single name. If you are facing this issue, please follow these simple steps to get the correct details and continue your application for a Tala loan. 

  1. Enter your PAN Card number.
  2. Type your Name under Full Name (as per PAN Card) field.
  3. Use your Father’s First Name or Father’s Last Name (if available) in the Last Name (surname)  field.
  4. Once done enter your Date of Birth as mentioned on your PAN Card.
  5. Click on permission checkbox & then Submit.
  6. Once you entered details your PAN Card validation should now be successful.
